Cultivating Calm: Establish Habits & Life Systems That Work for You

Life doesn’t have to be chaotic.

  • Imagine … if you could feel calm when life is chaotic.

  • Imagine … if you could feel confident in how you navigated uncertainty.

  • Imagine … if you could feel consistent in your daily life and stay on track.

With clarity, a vision for the future and a solid foundation of habits and life systems, each day won’t seem so overwhelming.

H E R E ‘ S T H E T H I N G . . .

We’ve been conditioned just to suck it up and soldier on when life happens.

  • We’ve been taught we need to figure it out on our own.

  • We’ve been expected just to accept that change is chaotic.

We run, run, run until we crash into a deep hole of frustration, burnout, illness, frayed relationships and more. It then takes years to claw our way back to a calm, confident and consistent place in life. It doesn’t have to be this way!

  • I’ve spent a lot of my life weathering the storms of unpredictable health events. Hospitalizations for asthma, random skin infections requiring IV antibiotics, mystery viruses that knocked me sideways and violent allergic reactions. I was constantly on edge waiting for the next thing to derail me. I lived in a constant state of chaos with no agency in my life.

It was a rainy April day several years ago when I found myself in my car crying. I was recovering from yet another infection and despite all my efforts to prevent it nothing seemed to help. As a working Mum of three I was tired and exhausted. I came very close to driving away from life and never coming back. Somehow, at that moment it seemed easier.

In desperation, I booked a trip to Ireland and attended a 7-day retreat that would change my life. Pressing pause and having the support of others allowed me to get clear on what I wanted. It helped me understand that how I navigated the chaos mattered more than desperately trying to prevent it.

Today I have clarity on what I want my future to look like and have built habits and routines that support me daily. With a stable foundation, when “life happens” I don’t crash like I used to … I navigate the storms, reset and continue moving forward.

With a little support, this is possible for you, too.

  • It’s for midlife women who feel like life is chaotic and overwhelming.

It’s for women who might be recent empty nesters, about to or newly retired, are in a career transition or women who are juggling the dance of raising kids while simultaneously caring for older parents. It’s for women who might not have the clarity they desire because life is chaotically noisy or suddenly quiet.

I created Cultivating Calm to help women get clear on what they want and establish habits and life systems to feel calm, confident and consistent each day. The women I work with know there is a better way and are motivated to smooth out the bumps of life.

    • I’ve been there. I know what it feels like when life is so chaotic you want to give up. I know what it feels like to have your whole identity wrapped up in the demands of others. I know what it’s like to feel paralyzed and not sure how to make meaningful change.

    • People have called me a Lighthouse - a calm figure in chaotic times. I see possibility in others when they can’t see it themselves.

    • I’ve never been a fan of mass-marketed goods and a one-size-fits-all approach. Working with me is a highly personalized experience.

    • I’m not going to be the one to tell you what to do … you already know. But you can count on me to help peel back the layers of your already amazing self.

    • We all need someone to hold us accountable. Think of me as your gentle guide nudging you forward

ARE YOU READY?

  • “Sarah is wonderful! She was a part of our first MenoMorphosis Info Session event – a day dedicated to women interested in learning more about their health before, during, and after menopause. Sarah led the group in a self-reflective journey that brought attention to and validated our needs and goals, which are so often overlooked but are incredibly important at this phase of life. The breathing exercise at the beginning helped to ground my energy in the moment, the handouts highlighted ways that I can tangibly use habits to create my ideal day, and I’ve already implemented these and noticed positive changes. If you’re looking for support on your particular path in life, we know that Sarah can be that support for you!”

~ Dr. Jeanny Kim, N.D., Rosegold Health Inc.

  • “Sarah guided a group of women through a powerful exercise on refining our morning and evening routines. Sarah came well-prepared with worksheets that made the process clear and easy to follow. Her relatable approach, especially when addressing the everyday struggles of incorporating routines into our busy lives, made everything feel achievable. I appreciated how she broke each step into manageable, digestible chunks. By the end, I felt a real sense of accomplishment and was excited to implement my new routines. It was both practical and inspiring!”

    ~ Jessica, workshop participant

  • “Sarah is a thoughtful and smart leader who comes prepared to make her groups ponder important questions. By working through her exercises and prompts, participants are guided to look inward and identify how they can take control of their lives through small bite-size habits and routines. Great work Sarah! 👏”

~ Tracy Smith, Kitchen Table CEOs

  • “Everyone had really positive things to say about the session. The written exercise was a big hit, having something tangible to take home is always great, especially when there is wine involved!

It was a topic so many of us can relate to; I have some mental blocks that stop me from developing good habits so being able to get some perspective on how to shift my mindset was really great.  Also, the idea that habits don’t have to be good or bad, but just habits, I really liked.”
